They probably verify your hours IF you're accepted but they don't ask for verification of volunteer hours for an interview. Did you "exaggerate" your hours to look better on your application?

I know exactly what you mean. If I was in that situation, I'd panic. I was more interested in how a school can/would check so many more applicants. The other hospitals have sent me confirmation hours of volunteering but this one hasn't.
