they are filled....every d-school in the freakin U.S is filled....canadian schools are filled...med-schools are filled......schools in the congo are filled too...saudi d-schools are filled....irish d-schools are filled..chinese d-schools are filled too...marsian d-schools are filled..every fckuning d-school in this fcuking world of too many people is fckuning filled....filled with homosapiens who multiply and procreate like crazy to fill this overcrowded freakin earth with their offspring who would then compete for every little resource on this planet's western fcuking hemi-fkucking sphere.....ok

The ADA said the other day that it is considering the reduction of class size by a factor of 2 in every American d-school because according to them, the competition is not fierce enough.
In fact, adcoms are proposing a new strategy that would make acceptance much faster and at the same time reduce the pain of the rejects to zero:

On the inTview day, the admissions office would put all the inTviewees in one room, hand them guns and make them shoot each other in the head. The person who survives the shooting gets accepted and those who die would never feel the pain of rejection.

Kaplan is already preparing shooting prep courses that will be conducted by the NRA......just make sure you dont shoot in the ass cus if you do, they'd put you on the alternate list.

**** it...i need to get some sleep. maybe it'll releive the stress and i need to stay at home tomorrow and not look through my window so that i wont be reminded that their are humans who wanna kill me for the place i live in, the food i eat, and every other resource i put my hands on....

man,, how could one hate competition when it actually brings the best in each and everyone of us? yet how could one like it when it means our insecurity, uncertainty, and waiting for another year to get into one freakin d-school?....it's all about having mixed feelings i guess....

whatever....i need to party and get drunk this coming weekend otherwise, i'll go nuts

Stay on your meds!!!

NSU-CDM is about 60% filled and we're interviewing into mid-March this year. Also heard some news that the class size will increase for the 2007-2008 application cycle, going from 105 currently to about 116 (adding more seats in the sim lab). These additional seats may be only for International Dentists (IDG), we'll have to see. Currently, each class has about 5 IDGs, my class has around 11 out of 106.

Clarification: IDGs only come in the beginning of 2nd year. NSU-CDM policy is if no 1st year dental fails and everyone moves onto the 2nd year, then no IDG spaces/spots. If 3 1st year fail, then 3 spots will open up for IDGs.

So I believe my school is increasing in size to accommodate IDG students and to insure we'll have at least 11 (these new seats) each year.

I have only taken several psych classes but I see many symptom of schizophrenia in your thread.

Try to control your dopamine levels.

many dental schools are upping their student body to help offset rapidly rising costs, especially in non-research schools. I'm sure that is the reason and there is nothing wrong with that if the space is there.

Its sad though that the cost of educating physicians and dentist is going out of control 🙁
