Army AEGD Selection Results

Hello,
I heard that the Army AEGD (1 year) board meets mid-November. Any ideas on when they do, and when we will find out selection results? A recruiter told us that we would find out selection results and AEGD location at the same time though I've heard from others that you find out the selection results in December and then the location later on, maybe January or February. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Got the email this morning. They said once you accept it, your name and ranking list will be sent for placement, hopefully we will find out sooner than later

Thank you, jlrandall. A classmate of ours just found out via email as well. No word for me yet. Did they send it to your personal email or official Army email?

Personal email. Remember, previous years there are around 48 spots for 120ish applicants. Not everyone is gonna accept or will go on to another residency so there should be quite a lot of movement. Good luck!

Actually quite a bit of people are not going to accept, and applicants that are going into a specialty program will have to turn down the AEGD slot.

I talked to my recruiter today and they told me that I was an alternate on the waitlist. I would recommend talking with your recruiter for an update too, if you haven't heard yet.

thanks for the update! were you able to find where exactly you stand on the waitlist? and any other info for that matter regarding movement/when we can find out more info?

My recruiter didn't know the place on the wait list as they're not given that information. Also nothing for sure about when we would find out more. I've heard that you can be technically on wait list all the way up until BOLC starts. They also said that they will "start working down the alternate list next week".
