I am an Army Healthcare Career Counselor and wanted to start this forum for anyone who is interested in applying for HPSP this year and wants to connect for answers to specific questions they may have!

Asking for a friend who has applied and been accepted to the Army HPSP program. What's the deadline to let them know what school he will go to? He has DO acceptances but is still waiting to hear back about an MD interview. And on the chance that he is waitlisted, how does that work? What if he gets accepted to the MD program in May/June off the waitlist? Is he allowed to switch then?

Good afternoon! You can change schools after being accepted. They would just need to send a new UF 601-37.12 to the HPSP program manager. The school fills that form out with the school information ,tuition amounts, expected grad date, etc.
