I should be getting out of the Army here soon. I completed my degree mostly through clep and dsst's. My goal is to be a dentist because its a nice sham lifestyle, I will be a business owner which i love, and I have always wanted to go the medical route. Dental school will not accept me with an online degree, I know this. What I am wondering is if i take a year post bacc, completing all of my prereqs at a brick and mortar school, and scoring well on my DAT would I be a competitor. I am extremely good at testing. I made a 32 on my ACT and a 1500 on my sat my sophomore year in high school. If I work very hard and maintain a 4.0 for my prereqs and fluff my application with volunteer work, will I have a chance at getting into the Georgia Medical College dental program?
