Are there any Army Reserve anesthesiologists on here who could tell me about what drill is typically like? I'm a graduating medical student and am already in the national guard. I'm thinking of going Reserve once I get into residency as I would be able to be slotted as an anesthesiologist and not as field surgeon, like in the Guard. Also wouldn't have to attend drill during residency. Seems like a better situation for career progression in military as well as if I were deployed. Reserve AMEDD recruiter is trying to get me in touch with someone but haven't heard back yet. Thanks for the help!
