So, Samoa escaped the lynch.... not sure what to make of that.

Quickly skimmed the rest of the thread.... there was some debate between Escalla and FFM that I don't really understand.... are we arguing about the criminals again and if they are good/bad/neutral/choas/rainbow farting unicorns? I don't know what they are considered in SOV's convoluted mind, but I am not going to waste time arguing about it either, would rather find wolves.

Also, Moira has to be one of the biggest biotches (from what I have seen) in the show thus far. So, at some point, I will be lynching Escalla again. I just don't see how that character is at all a "villager" in any sense. (Though SOV's mind is odd, so I guess you never know).

I think that is me caught up.

The argument between me and FFM was more in relation to the information he outed before he was lynched than any real discussion about what the criminals are. At least from my POV.

Also, I realize I've said this 203980234 times.....but please try and judge the character on more than the first episodes out of the 30+ that are out there. This is not just based on the first season when we're more than half way into season 2. Yes, there will be spoilers, but given that there has been the repeated use of the terms "bitch/bitch queen/evil bitch", I feel like you need to at least inform yourself more adequately before jumping to that conclusion. Saying to me that there's no way this bitch is a villager only makes me view you as ignorant to the source material and too lazy to look past the first half of the first season. Given that I know I'm a villager, it will only make you look silly given the insistence on this matter.

I think that is a perfectly reasonable expectation given the calibre of players in this game.

Not lazy, I am busy. I don't have the time to "look past" those things... I have seen the first 3 episodes and that is all I have to work on. In those episodes, she is a bitch. From what I have read posted on thread seems like she is only interested in herself... perhaps a bit like Regina from Once Upon a Time? That is what other peoples' descriptions on here have reminded me of. And that is someone that I will lynch at some point during the game.

Again, I am not lazy, everyone was well-informed that I am going to be largely MIA this game and I don't have the extra time to be looking up a bunch of crap. I actually almost backed out of the game because I knew I was going to be very sporadic, but decided I had already committed and I would give it my best go.

Also, your defensiveness this game has been over the top, especially since the majority of those times, you have not been in danger of actually being lynched... That is what I am picking up on that is giving me red flags.

It takes a lot less time to read a wiki than it does to watch episodes, so I would disagree. More than one other person that has informed themselves on the series has disagreed with the bitch queen assessment, so clearly there is more going on than the first few episodes. If you want to keep looking at a small piece that is the big picture in this game, then you'll continue to be incorrect.

If you want to lynch me because I'm defensive, then go ahead. But I will address each and every time someone starts off on how the bitch queen is not a villager because the ignorance is frankly quite irritating.

I watched the episodes back in Scotland before I came home... I literally do not have time currently to watch episodes or read wiki.... And people were warned of this. I am up at 5:30AM, getting to the clinic by 8AM, getting done around 6PM, not getting home until 7PM, which I still have to shower, eat dinner and I am still having to study and keep up on school.... I don't have time to add in wiki and read the thread/catch up with it; reading the thread is more important. I will have time this weekend to possibly read a few of the wiki's but I don't have time during the week and everyone was made aware of this. I am putting in contingencies and trying to check in the morning before leaving if I have time.

Your defensiveness is over the top. And your insistence that anyone that disagrees with you viewpoint is ridiculous; people can disagree with you without you constantly having to tell them they are ignorant and stupid.

So what you're saying is you don't have time to play?

I am insisting that someone is ignorant when they are insisting that I am an evil bitch queen. Why? Because they are. Whether that is because they're too busy or they choose not read, doesn't change the end result. It is not just my opinion, I don't know why that is being overlooked.

I can't say that I've ever just let this kind of opinion slide, hence my nearly constant arguing on the subject. If it's about my game play, then so be it. But lack of information irritates the crap out of me. When I feel like the opinion is that unreasonable and can be influenced by simply reading, I will argue about it. Simple as that.

If you don't have time to catch up then fair enough. But that does not mean you can't be called out.

I'm really tired of arguing about it, so I will leave it. It's just really pissing me off when it's an easy fix.

I'm done.

So what you're saying is you don't have time to play?

I'm playing the best I can with the time I have. I've been sending contingencies and catching up at night. This is about a active a you were last game. I also thought this was starting a week earlier than it did, otherwise I probably wouldn't have signed up. But I'm participating, posting when I can, and I haven't missed a lynch yet.

I'm not even lynching you as of right now. I said I probably would in the future, but I also think there are bigger threats out there. This is what I'm talking about, having to consistently defend against every post even when there is zero threat of your being lynched. It reminds me of your play in the cats game.

Really, my point of contention is with wilfully misinformed opinions. An argument about anything else in this game has been different. It just so happens that this centers on my role name.

In Cats, I was annoyed at the tiger assumption and expressed as much. They were reasonable to think the way they did, but I was upset at them being correct for entirely the wrong reason. This game reminds me more of Duck Dynasty, tbh.

Just please educate yourself. That is all I'm arguing for (and why who voting where hasn't influenced anything). 🙁

I'll try to read some stuff tomorrow but can't promise anything.

It just really reminds me of cats, the way you are defending/acting.

Anyway, bed time for me.

I think you need to look at the posts by Dwindlin, who seems to be her biggest supporter, or even the complete 180 that doce has done. Or you can listen to LIS who seems to be confirming ambiguous villager role category exists. Moira as evil bitch queen has been played out and I thought settled.

And I gave issue to Nyanko even being included in this game (as all saw in the sign up convo) given what I've seen of her previous participation (n=2 granted) but she has been perfectly fine this game as far as I can tell, so no complaints from me.

Today was very chippy between everyone, and yes Escalla has been defensive, but she has been on the ropes since the beginning and has been nothing but helpful and more active than even me, so I think you should take that into account as well... And I'd hope we have an allegiance seer our there who has hopefully seer'ed our mayor by now, which also gives her more credibility imo.

Which is throwing a wrench in my usual getting out of bed procrastination routine.
been in bed procrastinating since 815 for this very reason
Because of the timing of the morning results, I may or may not have been sleeping with my laptop in stand-by on my bed next to me...

I always get in trouble with things like this. Apparently I'm in a three-way relationship with a man and an iPhone and he's not all that keen on sharing.

I feel like there are some that could benefit from an WW Support Group for SOs.
there has to be some give and take. Give him the phone and let him take some pictures and videos, and I'm sure he will warm up to the three way relationship :naughty:

Although Samoa was able to smoothly depart the city center safely, and right under the Arrow’s nose, she did not leave without attracting some attention. Another citizen, emerged from the shadows, a woman wearing a skin tight outfit (they seem to be in style this year - well at least on the CW), and started to follow her. Although this mysterious citizen seemed stealthy to an uninformed observer, to Samoa, she was as loud as a vet student complaining about the latest exam. Samoa, did not change her pace, or give any sign that she knew she was under observation. Samoa calmly led them away from the busiest sections of the city, and towards the seediest parts of the Glades. Our mystery follower, may not have been as bad-ass as Samoa, but she knew that things were not going as planned, and decided she had best expedite this as soon as possible. She had followed Samoa not for information, but to execute her.

She decided to try to get ahead of Samoa, and be able to shoot her (not with guns you sillies) from the front, so she hurried to get to the next intersection first. The minute she left down one side street, Samoa turned down a different side street to flank her. The two of them arrived at the intersection at the same time, and our mysterious vigilante panicked and fires off a hurried shot, jumps for cover, and can’t see if she hit Samoa, or what happened to her. She waits for a while to see what happened, but there is no sign, not a sound but the normal hum of city traffic. She takes a peek out and sees a bloody smear near the corner of the building, and is relieved, and just a little proud of herself. Even when rushed, she managed to hit her target! She decides to go check and be sure, and carefully walks over to the corner where the smudge is, peers around the corner, when “POW!” she gets punched in the face. Reeling, she falls backward, and Samoa is on top of her in a second, putting her in an inescapable choke hold.

“Why are you following me? What do you know? Tell me everything!” Samoa demands.

“I don’t know anything. I just like killing… I am dark that way. Please don’t kill me, you are not the one I REALLY want to kill. I promise to let you go, and will never bother you again,” the woman begs. Suddenly she is not feeling so bad-ass, and maybe she is just a little bit out of her element.

Samoa sits there continuing to choke her, but suddenly gets up. “Ok, I will let you go. But remember, you owe me! If my arse is on the line, you best support me. “

Samoa stands up, and the other woman scurries away nodding her head, agreeing with Samoa… anything to get away from this scary person.

Samoa, heads off back to wherever it is she goes at night, mumbling about how she “has bigger fish to fry.” Samoa disappears into the cool city night, apparently to go shopping for fish and oil?

Elsewhere, one person was scared off of their nighttime activity when they saw what looked like a vigilante in a hood. Another felt invincible, just wishing someone would try to attack him. Meanwhile the Arrow slept alone in his own bed for the first time in a while. I guess even hot, billionaire playboys strike out once in a while. Or more likely, he was just tired from getting in and out of that skin tight suit. That can't be easy. There were a couple of reunions around the city, and as usual in reunions, there will be a lot to discuss. And someone has a new girlfriend and is feeling lethal.

Other than that, it is business as usual in this game, which means, once again… no one freaking died. This game has turned into a soap-opera, not a bloodbath. Not sure how that happened… but this says it all:

NO ONE HAS DIED.

Noticing that the arrow and "the person in a hood" are not synonymous in the write ups. Is it the dark archer (merlyn) or a member of the hoods, or what?

I was the person blocked last night... all the mods told me was essentially exactly what was in the writeup:

"You were too afraid of a hooded person to leave your house."

Yeah, I agree, it sounded more like her to me as well.. Other than that, I would suspect maybe the canary? But the dialogue seems to fit the huntress better.

I agree that the dialogue fits her better.
