You may want to edit that out. You can get TOS infringement/banned for suggesting "free" sites, even if they seem legit. The possibility of there being pirating on a site can get you banned here for sharing it.

All the residents rue the deterioration of the city; some recall the glory days when all was the "best ever", whether the restaurants, the posts by old-timers, the WW games, whatever... it was all better in the past. Now the city is overrun by pre-vet students deliquents, who prey on the older residents, until they can't take it anymore and are driven out of the city. There are still a few brave old-timers who think that all is not lost, that perhaps things can be turned around. We begin our story by checking in on a meeting of these stalwarts of respectability..

<Six people are in a conference room in a sky scraper in SDN City, we can only see the back of the head of the person sitting at the head of the table. Four others are identifiable seated around him in a heated discussion, one other is standing off to the side quietly, sipping a latte, and looking out the window at what appears to be a vibrant city below>

WTF: "I know things have gone downhill, but what do you expect ME to do about it. These rugrats are uncontrollable"
Fonz: "Why don't we ask @Lee to update the city. A massive reconstructions, give the city a facelift. What could go wrong? "
Nutmeg: "I have analyzed these people, you haven't got a clue. You can't just rush in and solve the problem. This requires patience, and careful planning, acts I am not sure you are capable of. I say the problem here is one of politics. These people need to be properly motivated to behave well."
JDH: "I don't think these people can be saved. Anarchy is coming. I am just gonna dig my bunker a little deeper, and order more weapons. I give up. They are all panzies anyway and refuse to agree with anything I tell them. "

< @[B]twelvetigers[/B] opens the door to the conference room, looks around at all the sour faces, quickly mumbles "sorry, wrong room" and quickly departs the building and is not seen again. >

Man sitting at head of table("head man"): "Ladies and gentlemen, I invited you here because you care about this city, you think it matters, and have not given up in its time of need. We have all been hurt by events in the past, I need not go into the details of all the devastation that has been wrought, what matters now is the future. Can we all agree on that?"

<there are varies sounds of assent, and what sounds like borborgymi coming from JDH's unfed body>

<the "head man" continues> "We have been dancing around the problem. We all know that it is the pre-vet forum Glades that needs to be cleaned out. We get rid of those low-lives and this city can regain its glory days. I know good people would return if they felt the glory days were returning. Hell I was talking to Severus the other day, and I guarantee you SEV, for one, would be back here in an instant. So this is what I propose: I say we KILL every single member of the city who does not live up to our high standards. WIPE THEM OUT. Then, we will finally have the city that we remember so fondly. "

<silence ensues after this bold pronouncement. The people sitting around the table look at each other, unsure how to proceed. Wolfspeaker, the secretary, comes in with tea, and drops the tray breaking the awkward silence... Fonz is the first to react">

Fonz: "look, these people aren't worth spit, but I am not sure even I can condone killing them. I wan't to class this joint up, but that is too extreme, even for me".
WTF: "I know some of these gals aren't the finest, but some of them are my friends. They aren't labratory rats to killed and dissected at our leisure, you have to be kidding".
Nutmeg: "Yeah, not a fan of genocide. Sorry. "

<Finally JDH is left. He is scratching his chin, clearly thinking it over. He looks around the room uncertain of his decision. He looks at Wolfspeaker and seems to suddenly come to a decision, but before he says anything, The woman with the latte takes out a garrote and wraps it around wolfspeaker's throat and kills her. @[B]wolfspeaker[/B] is dead . "I always wanted to do that," she says, "not to mention, she dropped our expensive china." She puts down her latte and walks over to the head of the desk, politely kisses the man there, and then walks out of the room. JDH is a bit taken aback by the ruthlessness of this murder, and speaks up…">

JDH: "You know I abhor these scum-bags, and I do believe that many problems can be solved with guns, but I am not sure that I can condone this course of action. I mean, who is going to decide who lives and who dies? It is not so easy to classify who has failed this city and who has helped it."
Head Man: "Why I will decide, of course, isn't that obvious. I am the one with the balls to come up with this plan, I am the one with the backbone to follow it through. "
JDH: "Sorry, I don't trust anyone making decisions for me. As much as I want the old days back, this is a line I won't cross!"
Head man: "How disappointing. I thought of all the fine citizens of our city, I could at least count on you 4 for support. -<shakes his head> Well sometimes, sacrfices must be made for the good of this city, and I know you all would be willing to make some sacrifices for the cause, no? <he pushes a button on his chair, and 8 men enter wearing masks from hidden alcoves all around the room carrying assault rifles> If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. You really should have agreed to help us solve this problem!"

<The head man gets up and walks out without turning around. JDH is reaching slowly inside his overcoat, when Fonz abruptly stands up>

Fonz: ""**** this ***** I'm outta here. "

<Fonz straps on a parachute and starts to run towards the window. Right before he jumps through a volley of bullets smashes into him, he crashes through the window which should be shatterproof - but since it was made by a cheating bastard in Starling city it shatters -, his chute opens automatically and gently carries his dead, bulllet-ridden corpse to the ground. As soon as the gunfire starts JDH pulls a sawed-off shotgun he just happened to be carrying out and swings it around, but alas, being armed is not always a defense against death when you are outnumbered 8 to 1, and he too is shot death. >

WTF <looks at Nutmeg and says>: "A life this amazing has to end sometime",

<Nutmeg just slowly nods his head as if to say "I told you so" as they are each plastered with way more bullets than were necessary.>

After the guns quieted, Allieh came running into the room, "Hey what's all the commotion…"
<she is immediately killed with a single shot to the head. Late to the party, but still got her fill.>

News of the death of four of the most upstanding citizens of Starling City quickly runs through the city like a cloud of nerve gas. People panic, dogs and cats start sleeping together, chaos ensues. Martial law is declared. After the stores are all looted, and the government buildings ransacked, a few saner heads decide that the city needs someone as a figurehead to resolve disputes, and hopefully provide some information? An election must be held.

Cast your ballots. Some of you may not be eligible for election due to the vagaries of the electoral system, but that is NOT information you may disclose.

Election Closes at 5am ET Saturday.

yeah, things kind of die every night after 7 PDT (or earlier) unfortunately. A lot of players in the eastern time zone.

Counting ballots is normally viewed as a fairly mundane, simple job. How hard can it be to open a ballot box, and note each vote on your paper, and add them up? Well as we have learned from the wonderful state of Florida and its hanging chads it can be quite a challenge occasionally (unless the election is being held in China, Russia, North Korea, or Crimea, where magically all the ballots have the same choice).

Here in SDN City, the "important" citizens all lead important lives, and can't be bothered to get involved in counting and validating an election. They turn to noobs to take over the role. Who better to deal with the quotidian, than brown-nosing, sniveling noobs. Luckily for us, there is a whole bunch of these noobs running around the place, just out of their diapers. The noobs gather together and oddly, the first order of business for them is their own election: they must elect an "Election Judge". After a few rounds of sequestered voting, the conclave keeps on coming up a tie as indicated by the black smoke signals, finally in a back door deal, @brightimpressio (BI) is voted in, and the white smoke signal is released. BI gets them to work right away counting the official ballots as half the night has already passed, and WW-ers are not known for their patience.

Immediately a problem is found as 16 votes for @Mad Jack (MJ) are discovered as "write-in" votes. BI quickly invalidates those ballots and kicks MJ out the door. He spits and swears as he goes, it sounded like some line from Shakespeare, but no one ever really listens to what MJ says. Finally legitimate ballots are being counted and there is a lot of debate over candidate eligibility after the MJ fiasco. After some intense debate (and lots of alcohol), one of the 5 candidates receiving votes has been invalidated, and all those who voted for him/her/it have lost their voting rights. A loud objection to this is made by @evilsquirrel , but everyone just pounces on her and kicks the crap out of her because they just want to go home after a long night. Finally the votes are ready to be counted, but everyone is exhausted so they decide @WildZoo should do all the work since she does all the talking. She works diligently through the early hours of the morning. Perhaps the mathematically challenged undergrad was a bad choice as counting up to 8 was a bit of a chore for her, but she concludes confidently that Lupin has won, no, scratch that, she didn't realize that SnS was the same as ShortnSweet which was the same as SquatnSqueeze, so yes, SnS definitely won. BI comes over to validate the results and asks why the candidate with 8 votes is not the winner. WZ looks at her quizzically and replies "Duh, 8 is less than 4, how did you get elected judge?" BI proceeds to vomit all over WZ (too much tequila, too much WZ) and validates Escalla as the winner of the election.

And y'all thought all we have to do is count votes for you and post the results? Well, if you could only see how hard the little noobs are gonna have to work with contingency votes and waffling in lynch votes. Oy vey!

Congrats? to the official winner Escalla, your new mayor who has been given her role description. Being mayor is sometimes not all it is cracked up to be is it Escalla?

Rumors of the voting irregularites quickly make their way through the city, although, as in TP, soon people are saying that peens, and oral sex decided the election, and that unspeakable acts were performed on MJ and WZ. Even on a night when Oliver Queen, the billionaire playboy, returns from supposed death, the people were still just discussing various sexual perversions instead (I still say my accidental discovery on google of the headless chicken has scarred me for life, but I digress). Matters are not helped that @LetItSnow ,LIS, master of the whip, has not been seen, although there are reports that he was seen in scrubs either passed out or dead lying next to a recently spayed dog. Of course, even though many of you saw that picture yourselves, the rumor quickly changed to charges of zoophilia and bestiality towards LIS. For those of you FB friends with LIS, you can see the incriminating photo here:

Away from the gossip, in the ArrowCave, Felicity Smoak is working late on her computer when she notices an unusual surge of the EMS emissions that she monitors. She informs The Arrow, a new vigilante in SDN city, and he leaves to go check it out, leaving Diggle behind to protect her and keep her safe for the night. Oddly, he spots another person dressed in similar garb on the streets, but just shakes his head and heads to Queen consolidated the source of the emissions. Before he gets there, a hot woman runs up to him, flashes him with her bewbs, and then tries to steal his bow and arrow. The arrow punches her in the face, retains his weapons, and continues on into the building. He searches through the lower levels of the building, and finds an earthquake machine which he disarms and dismantles, then turns off his cell phone, and heads out to the night club Verdant to pick up young (but still legal) girls to try out various new sexual acts that he has heard rumors of this day. Unfortunately, he doesn't realize that there are TWO earthquake machines and the second one is still ticking down towards zero.

Unbeknownst to the Arrow, Moira Queen was in Queen consolidated earlier in the day. Fresh off of garrotting WolfSpeaker, SHE had turned on one of the earthquake machines herself. While her son was off "picking up babes", she was on TV telling everyone about the evil plot of Malcolm Merlyn (the "head man" in our opening scene), and to abandon the area around Queen consolidated so no one is hurt. Unfortunately, lots of finance guys are in the consolidated buidling, and they don't leave their posts trading the Asian markets for anything, so she is forced to go back into the building and disarm the machine herself, or lose her own life in the process. She gets to the building, but finds the elevators are not working, stuck between floors with too many people crowded in at once trying to escape, so she is forced to climb all the way to the top of the building using the stairs - good thing she has been using her home stair climber machine to keep her womanly shapes in check.

She gets to the top and tries to disarm the device, but her hands are too sweaty from the stair-climbing, and the touch screen is not registering her commands. She is forced in desperation to take off her high heels (that amazingly she wore all the way up the steps... imagine that) and destroy the machine with her stilletto heals. Not only has she managed to save the day, but she has managed to do it while looking "fabulous" in her designer outfits.

Still one wonders about her role in all this, doesn't one?

Sadly for the evil plotters of the world, the two earthquake machines have been destroyed, and the mods are sad not to have seen their item used to KILL both the occupants of one of the locations in SDN city.

After the commotion of the earthquake machine, a number of players can be seen checking the identities of players, or looking for a particular person that seems to have been lost in the chaos of the last day. A few others received items that they were a bit reluctant to try out. Weenies.

Oddly, there was silence from the Merlyn corporation overnight. Perhaps our head man has decided the best thing to do is to do nothing.... and just let the citizens of SDN city run wild with their worst nightmares. Who knows what is in store for tomorrow night? Perhaps he has some plot brewing that just takes time. All we know is:

No one has died.

A note on the use of pronouns: I generally (but not always) use the pronouns of characters, not players in my write-ups unless the player's name has been revealed. Don't read too much into it in either direction.

Counting ballots is normally viewed as a fairly mundane, simple job. How hard can it be to open a ballot box, and note each vote on your paper, and add them up? Well as we have learned from the wonderful state of Florida and its hanging chads it can be quite a challenge occasionally (unless the election is being held in China, Russia, North Korea, or Crimea, where magically all the ballots have the same choice).

Here in SDN City, the "important" citizens all lead important lives, and can't be bothered to get involved in counting and validating an election. They turn to noobs to take over the role. Who better to deal with the quotidian, than brown-nosing, sniveling noobs. Luckily for us, there is a whole bunch of these noobs running around the place, just out of their diapers. The noobs gather together and oddly, the first order of business for them is their own election: they must elect an "Election Judge". After a few rounds of sequestered voting, the conclave keeps on coming up a tie as indicated by the black smoke signals, finally in a back door deal, @brightimpressio (BI) is voted in, and the white smoke signal is released. BI gets them to work right away counting the official ballots as half the night has already passed, and WW-ers are not known for their patience.

Immediately a problem is found as 16 votes for @Mad Jack (MJ) are discovered as "write-in" votes. BI quickly invalidates those ballots and kicks MJ out the door. He spits and swears as he goes, it sounded like some line from Shakespeare, but no one ever really listens to what MJ says. Finally legitimate ballots are being counted and there is a lot of debate over candidate eligibility after the MJ fiasco. After some intense debate (and lots of alcohol), one of the 5 candidates receiving votes has been invalidated, and all those who voted for him/her/it have lost their voting rights. A loud objection to this is made by @evilsquirrel , but everyone just pounces on her and kicks the crap out of her because they just want to go home after a long night. Finally the votes are ready to be counted, but everyone is exhausted so they decide @WildZoo should do all the work since she does all the talking. She works diligently through the early hours of the morning. Perhaps the mathematically challenged undergrad was a bad choice as counting up to 8 was a bit of a chore for her, but she concludes confidently that Lupin has won, no, scratch that, she didn't realize that SnS was the same as ShortnSweet which was the same as SquatnSqueeze, so yes, SnS definitely won. BI comes over to validate the results and asks why the candidate with 8 votes is not the winner. WZ looks at her quizzically and replies "Duh, 8 is less than 4, how did you get elected judge?" BI proceeds to vomit all over WZ (too much tequila, too much WZ) and validates Escalla as the winner of the election.

And y'all thought all we have to do is count votes for you and post the results? Well, if you could only see how hard the little noobs are gonna have to work with contingency votes and waffling in lynch votes. Oy vey!

Congrats? to the official winner Escalla, your new mayor who has been given her role description. Being mayor is sometimes not all it is cracked up to be is it Escalla?
