Art classes vs. social science classes

What do you guys think would be better....taking art classes to show that I am good with my hands, or taking economics classes which would show that I am smart in other subjects. This would be presuming that the art classes would help my GPA, while the economics classes would be the same as my cummulative. I would also plan on taking 4 or 5 classes of either one. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Why not take both classes? A little bit of both is good.
But if you are set on just one, I'd say the art classes may be of more help.
Do a few art classes and maybe 1-2 Econ classes.
