As a potential future PT I was wondering if PTs, since they spend a decent amount of time working with their patients, get to know their patients well on a personal level or if its usually more of a matter-of-fact relationship.
As a PT, do you get to know your patients fairly well?

With each session, I get to know my patients more and more on a personal level. It's how I develop rapport with them. Some are more talkative about their lives than others, but they all have something about themselves or the world that they share with me. In turn, I always try to let people know about things going on with me too to stay open and friendly. 🙂
