Ask about nerve of forearm?

Medial Cutaneous nerve of forearm arise from medial cord of brachial plexus
And medial cutaneous nerve of forearm has 3 branches are medial branch,lateral branch,and lateral branch
And lateral branch of medial cutaneous nerve of forearm is the terminal branch of musculocutaneous,but musculocutaneous arises from lateral cord of brachial plexus
Why is it like that?
