Asking for Stats & Admission Info

Hi all,
Asking for stats and admissions related information has become a controversial issue here, so I thought a poll would help us decide whether
a. We should be allowed to ask for stats and ignore people who refuse to share.
b. We should be allowed to ask, but respect people who are uncomfortable sharing their stats.
b. We should not be allowed to ask for stats, as it is against forum etiquette.
