Assigning letters for Vanderbilt

I guess the question is with Vanderbilt's secondary+interview deal, should I send it my lor to vanderbilt now or wait until the secondary? In other words, are my letters even considered when deciding if I get an interview?

For Mayo, I wait for a letter request before sending them anything right?

For all other schools, it doesn't hurt me in any way to wait until I have the secondaries to send in my letters right? In other words, my lor don't help me get a secondary and I can assign my letters once I submit my secondary?

I sent all schools my LORs immediately (I applied to both Vandy and Mayo). It won't impact you negatively if you go ahead and send them and you won't have to do more work later.

You can send them, but it's unlikely they will review them until your application file is complete.

+1 to this advice. Just assign your LORs now via AMCAS or whatever service you're using so they are sent to the school, or at least the school can "access them when they so choose".
