I'll start off saying that I'm about two years away from actually applying to medical school. However, I've been looking at all the costs associated with applying. How do low income students afford the MCAT, first and secondary applications and the costs of travelling to schools for interviews? Of course, the obvious answer is by working, but it seems really expensive for someone already working to pay for school. Is there any type of assistance? Did you just save up?
