don’t believe there is one. You have to do the ACS live course in your area.

you have to take the actual class in person. Or let it lapse. ACLS tends to be likely to be requested by hospitals.

Has to be through a course for ATLS.
They have one day renewal courses, but you have to go to them

Mine lapsed years ago but our hospital bylaws exclude EM from ATLS,ACLS,PALS,BLS requirements. You might want to check if you have a similar exclusion before you put in the effort to renew. The easiest way to renew ACLS/PALS/BLS is through acls.com which is where I've renewed them in years past. As others have said though, there's no online way to get around ATLS.

This. Our national organizations see EM board certification as meeting and exceeding merit badge courses. If you're EM boarded, check with your credentialing folks.

Last time I did ATLS was total garbage. A bunch of aging surgeons and nurses teaching us out-dated, discredited theory (backboard and C-collar???). Then having to take a test with ridiculous questions where often the "right answer" was either completely wrong, or irrelevant to our field.
If ACEP could get rid of crap like this, I would joing agin.

For the life of me I cannot figure out what ACEP does. During the last few years, we've seen a proliferation of residency programs, an attempt at making nurse practitioners equal in status and pay to physicians, the implementation of Medicare's sepsis bundle, the continued encroachment by CMG's and predatory SDG's, and their conferences have wall to wall advertisements from drug companies. Annals is the only thing they've got going for them.
