1 mol has 6x10^23atom. = avogadro #
Destroyer says 1 mol of a gas has 6x10^23molecule.

But atom and molecule are not the same.

Does this only apply for gas that # of atom and molecules are the same?

A mole is a number, in this case 6x10^23.

Think of what a dozen is... a dozen is a number... 12.

Are there units on a dozen? No. You could have a dozen pencils, a dozen muffins, a dozen cats, a dozen atoms, a dozen molecules.

In the same way, you could have a mole of atoms, a mole of molecules, etc.

A gas could be a molecule so 1 mol of a gas has 6x10^23 molecules.
An element consists of atoms so 1 mol of an element has 6x10^23 atoms.
