Hey,

I haven't seen any forums talking about the upcoming class for the Masters of Biomedical Sciences at ATSU and was wondering if anyone else has finished applying and heard anything yet.

I finished my application in mid-january and got an invite for an interview on March 28th. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten an interview or accepted and if so how it was. I've heard that its a great school and program and most of the students get accepted into KCOM or other medschools right after.

Hey, I have actually have been accepted to the program so here is a little information about the process:

For the interview, it was pretty standard. It took from about 8-3pm. You are interviewed by two faculty members and an admission individual. For myself, they focused what I had written in my personal statement and on my CV. I know that one of the interviewers asks potential students a chemistry question, but luckily for me instead he talked to me about my research. They will also ask about what your future plans are, strengths/weakness, etc.

I heard back with in two weeks of my acceptance, which was considered early admissions. I believe for those that are not selected for early admissions, everyone will here by beginning to mid April.

Overall it seems like a great program given how small of a class it is and from what admissions told me, everyone from the past years graduating class has been accepted to some graduate level program, with most attending KCOM.

Good Luck.

do either of you know the stats on the percentage of people who where offered a interviewed compared to the number accepted for previous years?

I'm not sure of exact numbers however, being offered an interview means they have to have some kind of interest in you. I would guess that there is a fairly good chance of being accepted if you have an interview and all goes well
