Okay guys, I m a 2nd time test taker. I have the old "r" versions of the exams, besides number 9 i think. So what i m doing is attempting the first 52 questions on PS, first 40 on VR and first 52 on BS (ALSO ADJUSTING THE TIME TO 70 MINS). You think it's an accurate score predictor of my real thing because I have have averaged a 30 in the 3 practice tests i have taken so far (3R, 4R and 7R, ofc adjusting them to 52 questions each). I have my exam in 4 days and the reason I am doing it is because I dont have the stamina to sit through 100 minute sections.

Let me know what you guys think about where I might stand with this strategy (not really a strategy) and how it might reflect on the real mcat!

Are you studying this way because you've already taken all the practice exams available for purchase on e-mcat.com? If not, please just do that. Otherwise, I don't see how any of us would really be qualified to tell you how your as yet untested plan will correlate to actual performance. In general though, more practice is good and more practice under timed conditions is even better.

So it certainly can't hurt. But you might want to try some actual practice tests (even TPR) designed for the 52/40/52 question format to make sure you get the timing right.

yes, i took all the practice exams, well most of them. On the other hand, i think kaplan is more problem oriented while aamc exams are much more logic based (less dense calculations). My exam is on 26th, so i am just trying to get a sense of how the exam is like, provided the content, which is quite different from kaplan or any other course (although the concepts are the same)
