Wednesday is the last day to apply for the written boards for 2011 at the lowest rate. After Wednesday, it goes from $850 to $1100. Depending on how long you wait, it will go up to as high as $1700.
Kind of a sham if you ask me, as I understand it, this doesn't cover the cost of the exam, but only the process of being approved. The actual exam then costs additional. Everyone loves to milk doctors!
Anyway, hopefully everyone that has't paid yet, now will do so.
