First of all, congrats on being accepted to both schools!

These are quite different programs. I am not sure which one is better, but you can compare and decide for yourself. In my opinion, RWJMS MBS is geared more towards medical school entry. They even offer committee LOR, accelerated admissions into RWJMS, physician shadowing, etc.

RWJMS MBS is a new program (Fall 2010 will be its first semester), classes meet during the day only, curriculum can be completed within one year. If you do well, and have competitive MCAT scores, you may be admitted into RWJMS starting with Fall 2011, so there is no lag year.

That being said, there is really no point in comparison because RWJMS MBS has no track record, they are brand spanking new. In theory, RWJMS MBS sounds awesome if you can do really well in the program, have no concerns about heavy courseload, can focus entirely on your studies and would be fine with attending RWJMS for your medical degree. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

P.S.: I applied to both, but was accepted only to the Newark program, so I will be starting there in the fall.
