Hey guys. I have an interview coming up for a internship with a local chapter of a well known NPO/foundation. They didn't mention anything about attire for the interview so I was wondering, would a pant suit be too formal? Or should I just stick with slacks, a nice blouse, and heels. I'm just wondering if a suit would be the outfit of choice, or if its considered to formal. Thanks.

I would go formal for interviews.

It's a good rule of thumb that you're better off being overdressed than underdressed, so if you're unsure, I'd err on the side of more formal. That said, I'm clueless regarding women's dress, so I have no idea what the nuances are.

As a male, I would probably wear slacks and a dress shirt, but that's because I don't own a suit yet. If I had one, I'd probably wear the suit.

Thanks guys. I guess you're right, better overdressed than underdressed. I highly doubt they would get mad over me wearing a suit.
