Okay . . . from the countdown thread it seemed like mustangsally was going to start the "scores" thread, but I just went ahead and did it.

Whoever wants to can post their scores Thursday/Friday or whenever and we'll all offer each other support/congrats. I'll be one of the first to post, that's for sure. That way, we'll also be able to tell when scores are out! Who's with me?

When do scores come out? After taking the mcat i just tried to push anything related to the mcat out of my mind, sadly will most likely have to retake. Just randomly heard somewhere that scores are due out this week or next week?

Posted as being released this Friday, which means possibly Thursday night of this week!!!

I don't think it's very nice to brag about good scores. Sure, you earned them, but what about the people that didn't do so hot? Or didn't do as well as they wanted, and you scored higher?

And the people that didn't score that great - do they really want to post their scores anyway? I know I probably wouldn't have posted mine last year when I didn't score that great on the MCAT if I had known about SDN.

Anyhoo, just a thought.

And posting a good score isn't bragging. If someone did a good job after months of studying, what's the point of keeping it to themselves? And we'll never know if they're really telling the truth.

Am going 😱 crazy 😱 crazy 😱 crazy!!! I am so worried/excited and totally dreading cheaking the score but I have to as I have not submitted my AMCAS yet. I completed the application but decided to wait and see if my score would be good enough to submit it and if it sucks I am gonna hit the books and take it in April. I am trying so hard not to make mental (in my head) deals with god but I keep thinking if my score is good, I'll call my grandmother more often, I'll do so many good deds...Ya I am loony! Wish I could fast forward to tomorrow night... 😛 😱

That being said, it is entirely up to you what you do in the first 5 minutes after you see your score. Coming to SDN might not be the best idea if you're the sensitive type.

Hey now, some of those posters stick around and end up posting about application issues or to help the other MCAT posters. There's a couple of people that come to mind in this category.

Yep. Right now, you can check out the April 2005 distribution and percentiles to get yourself revved up if you want.
