for all of you that have taken the august mcat, what has this application cycle been like for you?

when were u amcas verified?
what secondaries did you recieve/submit?
have you gotten ANY interview invites yet???<<if so, ur stats please???

Mid-October: Got score.
10/26: Submitted AMCAS.
Immediately received about a half dozen secondaries.
11/5: Submitted AACOMAS.
11/28: AACOMAS verified.
12/5: AMCAS verified.
Additional MD secondaries have been coming in daily and I've started
submitting them. No responses yet.

Submitted all my secondaries by end of October.
Complete by end of october for most/early November.
Scores came out mid-October (weren't so impressive =/)

Got my first interview invite on Wednesday.

Yeah I hear you on that...my outlook on this process is fairly bleak. I am in the same boat with the deadlines and submission dates, and the most positive outcome i look forward to is being waitlisted and hopefully later accepted. Whee!

*Submitted AMCAS in mid-August
*Verified mid-September
*Onslaught of secondaries within a couple of days of verification (no pre-screened secondaries that I know of). Submitted all secondaries except one by end of September with LORs in.
*Got scores mid-October and apps became complete. Submitted last secondary and LORs after seeing scores. Complete at that school end of October.
*Interview invite mid-October and second one late November. Other than these, just crickets and a mid-November rejection. 3.5 cumulative, 35SMCAT, but 3.0 science which I think is probably killing my app at some schools. Hoping for more email invites, but if my school's email sever keeps crashing for entire days several times a week, anything being sent won't matter anyway since I can't log in to see it...

Not an august MCATer, but very similar timeline so I'll share

early aug letters in
late aug amcas submission
late sep verification
secondaries sep to nov
complete at most schools in Oct
4 invites in Nov: 3 for Dec and 1 for Jan
1 rejection so far (Dec), deferred from Penn late Nov (apparently means rej)

I think in many cases Aug MCAT people who submitted before the scores came out are ahead of me in "line". That's pure speculation, and doesn't mean a whole lot between 20 different applications. I've been paying close attention to the official aug mcater thread.

Verified August 28.

Most secondaries submitted from begining of September to mid-October. A couple lagged into mid-November (I didn't like my essays at first and was too busy to get back to them right away)

Was an August MCAT repeat so secondaries that went in earlyier weren't complete applications until scores came out in mid-October.

I haven't heard a thing yet. :-(

Accepted at KU 11/21

I've interviewed at 2 schools (both from which I won't hear back until March)
I've got 7 more interviews scheduled, and they come in about 1 per week since Oct 20
