I took the April and scored VR 6 BS 9 PS 10 WS N
I took the August and scored VR 6 BS 9 PS 10 WS M

Now I looked at the percentiles though

The April Verbal I was between 12-24
The August Verbal I was between 18-30

That is a 6% improvement, not representative of the 2months of nothing but verbal studying I put it but still much better.

My overall percentile went from 45-50 in april to 50-55 in august.

Is this in any way considered at med schools, or they just get the raw MCAT scores with the percentiles?

when they get your scores, they get the percentile right next to it....

actually i believe htat is the precentile is more important exactly because of the discrepancy you considered...

I assume percentile is based only on group of people who took the AUGUST 2004 MCAT. On other hand, your numberic score is curved to the first group of people who took the MCAT in 1991.
