I'm planning an away rotation during the month of November in a program that is a bit more competitive than the other programs I'm applying to. My question is what are the possibilities I could be denied an interview before working there? How soon do they deny interviews for anesthesiology residencies? If I am denied an interview, is there any chance I could change their mind and offer me a chance to interview after seeing my interest in their program?
