The Republican representative who got the provision amended in to the state budget is a DNP and crna. She cited Medicaid cuts which were impacting the viability of rural hospitals (which of course her own party crafted and passed at the federal level) as a major reason for why this was needed.

I have no clue why the asa Ohio chapter doesn’t troll the crnas lobbying why they are demanding equal pay but also access to care.

It’s a simple argument they can win any day. Argue for Medicare pass through for MDs in rural areas because apparently cost control doesn’t matter any more
