absolutely. but its like a dress rehearsal to fellowship program, so you need to bring your A game for rotation. Having a GI specific CV helps. Choose program where applicants with profile similar to yours have matched, avoid going to ivy league programs to get LORs coz those places wont hire you. if you need visa, plan accordingly(go to places who will sponsor your visa for fellowship in case you impress them)
