When do away rotation applications typically open for M4. Also, I have a couple of preceptors from the past year in mind to ask for letters of rec for away rotations and residency. When should I start asking them?

The second question is easy—you should ask for letters at the end of the rotation so they can jot down their thoughts of you while it’s still fresh. So if you haven’t already done so, I would ask now
