It's time for the fifth annual AWWARDS!

From December 17 until January 14, you may nominate people for different categories. Starting January 14 until February 3, you may vote. This thread may be used to publicly speculate. Live reveal starts soon after.

Guidelines

• You may include a maximum of three people in your nominations per category. Voting will be ranked choice.
• Names nominated at least twice in each category will be on final ballot.
• You may not attempt to send in multiple nomination or voting ballots.
• Posts in threads aren't nominations.
• You may change your nominations, as long as you resend the entire post. Nominations may not be changed after deadline.
• You may not self-nominate/self-vote.

Hmmmm we haven’t mapped the WW karyotype, so I have two hypotheses:

1) Wolfatees are homogametic (WW) and village manatees are heterogametic (WV), so traits on the W affiliation chromosome (perhaps including incessant fakeclaiming) show an inheritance pattern like X-linked. The W affiliation chromosome is inherited from manator(s) and the V affiliation chromosome is inherited from The Village Spirit. For village noobs, the second set of autosomal chromosomes is inherited from their first wolfpack.

1) The number of manators/wolfators determines ploidy and it does not change through WW life. Therefore you are triploid and your manatees are haploid. If incessant fakeclaiming is recessive, you only need one wildtype allele to avoid it, and if you have two affected alleles, you had a 44% chance of passing it to both manatees

zuri had the item, wolves thought it was a bomb (thanks to mothy for that chaos) so we gave it to eleanor since she was immune to death besides yeets, but then eleanor got yeeted so the item disappeared into the aether.
