Have I earned myself a most likely to die N1 nom yet lol
I'm very curious to see if there are differences in how people vote for that and who is ACTUALLY most likely to die N1 because I've been keeping track of that (and D1), and last year, the winner only actually died N1 a single time, but the perception was that he died N1 all the time for some reason

One person has been the first post on thread almost twice as many times as the next highest person, and I think people would be very surprised by who it is.

I'm very pleased to report that so far, no one has died D1 more than twice the entire year, which is a big improvement from last year.
I died N1 stardew, ass class, clocks, and, numbers. :heckyeah:

Yes, Zenge has done it 7 times this year and is the only wolf to be first on the thread. I’m the next closest but only with 4 😔.
actually though having 4 is pretty good considering that I only played 7* games on here this year.

Imo it’s not retrospective, it’s a prediction. Otherwise there’s no point voting, we would just count.

I suspect the N1 voting is more or less people who die early at a high frequency. I've been the first night kill five times. That doesn't seem like much but I actually have rarely lived to see the end of N3.

You have not been the first night kill 5 times this year. The highest is 4 and it’s samac with an asterisk bc she wasn’t actually the NK target the most recent time. A samasterisk.

I have Casino, Marvel, Supernatural, Literary, and WildZoo in my notes

I’m counting times where you died but were re:angelic::arghh:zzed, but the only way I can see you getting to 5 is if you’re counting failed attempts and that’s not dying lol
They only failed because of my exact ability. If I had been anyone else I would have deceased completely again.

Oddly specific awward for AM for having 2 separate games where she claims to be the first night kill and neglects to mention such important facts like she didn’t die or she was rezzed and went to endgame and won in both situations 😂

I guess it doesn't count in the team spirit of the game, but it has eroded the enjoyment and confidence I have in being able to solve the game in time. Even by Anniversary I felt near wolfing level stress rather than excitement to be 3p because I knew I was going to die soon regardless of my actions (and auto lose).

You were acting weird and I investigated you in anniversary. Even if paws (?) hadn’t killed you, I got the night results that said you killed weagle so it would’ve only been a few days before you were yeeted.

I honestly don’t remember casino I just know you took everyone’s money.

Consolidating my StardeWW thoughts:

I agree with the thoughts about PSV for best noob
"oh my samac" considerations for best quote - not sure whether to give that to samac herself or to sporty for making the joke first lol
AM gets consideration for best reads - pretty sure she had both me and kdswg in her early POE. Bob too, his last one had me and genny iirc.
Also agree with the flavor noms
I'll have to hunt down that stoat quote about me and genny faking the block for best tinfoil. I enjoyed that one.
Watching Bob for most commonly wolf read consideration...and wondering if True will continue to be village read
Why is @SportPonies sad

Some interesting numbers from this past year for those who want them, noting that for post count metrics, I had to stop at Time To Get A Watch because then Threadloom disappeared. Also I censored the noob game in those categories because its post count was so low compared to normal games that it skewed things really badly, so I considered it an outlier.

Village had a slight majority in win rate, winning 52.63% of the games this year.

A wolf or exclusive scum was in the first 5 posters on thread 84.21% of the time. There was at least 1 in the top 5 posters volume-wise on D1 73.33% of the time, and at least 1 in the bottom 5 66.67% of the time.

The 5 lowest posters D1 were all village 33.33% of the time. This occurred in 3 village wins (Casino, Bowling, Literary) and 2 wolf wins (Supernatural, Time to Get a Watch).

The average D1 post count was 1,065.75 posts.

More coming shortly while I play around in the spreadsheet.

I'll leave out D1/N1 deaths for now so as not to affect people's nominations and eventual voting for awwards.

Based solely on number of occurrences (vs % of games each person played because that would be a pain for me to figure out):

The most consistent first poster on thread was Zenge.

The most consistent highest D1 poster was a tie between me and Dubz - though I think I've got her on % here because I only played 6 games within the timeframe where I could easily track this and was the top D1 poster in 5 of them . Dubz was the most consistent highest game poster.

The most consistent lowest D1 poster was genny. There was a lot more variation in this than in the highest posters. For the overall game posting level, there was only a single person who had the lowest count more than once, and this metric is particularly skewed by D1/N1 deaths, so I looked at it, but there's nothing worth reporting.

Of the 15 games I was able to evaluate with all the numbers (and with excluding the noob game), the top poster was one of me, samac, or Dubz 60% of the time.
