AZPod Prereqs

I emailed AZpod about their biology pre-reqs and they said you must take general bio + lecture and no upper division courses can be used as replacement. Is this true? I'm only asking because I've emailed other med schools before and they've told me one thing only to end up telling me something different after talking to somebody above them.
