I am going to strongly disagree with you, but we will see how she turns. That's typical jilary posting when compared to other games I've played with her.

I guess for those who have wolved with me before, what's your logic that I would bring all this attention to me at the beginning, with no votes on me day 1. i am specifically one that has yelled at fellow wolf noobs that posted too early in lynch cycles, that has pretty much scolded them to just stop talking and go into the background.
Also, call me n00b or biased, but STL's helped me with his savantness through a couple different games.
Lynch Jil
I swear we've played together before? Anyway it doesn't matter. I joke. All the time. In real life and here. I'm not going to stop just because you think someone should play one way or the other. Your insane scrutinizing would seriously make me think someone was a wolf. But you're just like that. And I'm like me. Get it?I am sure most of my responses will be terribly out of date, but going down the list now to catch up.
I would gladly tell someone in pm that I can trust wouldn't let get back to Jilary. Pming is not an option this game unless someone has a role for it. If someone has a night communication ability today, and you are a person I trust not to blab back to Jilary a flaw in her play, please choose me to pm with tonight. I would rather keep a known player flaw close to home then let them fix it. If that comes at the cost of a few more people being suspicious of me, I am fine with that.
FWIW, I was saying for people to switch off and let Jilary defend today (which up until the point I am read now, she really hasn't). I wouldn't put too much into coopah, but that's just me.
*sigh* it's posts like this, when I see them frequently, that makes me more and more want to put you in wolf territory. I feel like I see you posting everywhere, and adding minimal to discussion.
You shouldn't be convinced that anyone is a wolf at this point. But you should throw together information that you do have, interrogate, put pressure, throw accusations, and see how people react. We can all just sit here and say "Meh, I don't know that anyone is a wolf, let me just wait on a seer." But two issues with that. One, we might as well be playing "how well can the seer guess who wolves are?" instead of WW. Two, in a basics game, with a protector dead, the seer gets to name one wolf. That's it. They can risk holding wolves names close to home, and hope they can release more than one, but they may die with that info doing that. And the "I am not good at this" is not an excuse. Guess how you are going to get better? by trying over and over again until you actually figure out wolves. I used to be abysmal at finding wolves. Now I am okay to decent at it. It's not something that you naturally have.
This is not necessarily true for STL imo. My impression from mostly mod side is that he's just very variable depending on irl. I can think of him being a fairly exuberant villager and pretty quiet wolf since I started playing. What does the thing about telling noob wolves to stop talking have anything to do with you being or not being a wolf.
Also, pattern I've noticed from you recently. You've been much more vocal/aggresive early on as a wolf lately. And you've been very quiet as a villager lately...perhaps out of boredom? I don't know. Just a pattern I've picked up on.
@mmmdreamerz, don't have enough input from you. However, it seems as if you were feeling "feels" about raf.
@SnowshoeDog143, don't have enough input from you either although I recall you voted to lynch Confusing, followed by SkiOtter on D1. Today, you have voted to lynch and then unlynch WZ.
I'm also wondering, if that is what he has told people to do, then why wold he do that himself? If there are things people know I recommend when I'm a wolf, I'm going to try to do the opposite. What does the thing about telling noob wolves to stop talking have anything to do with you being or not being a wolf.

eh I'm just saying that I haven't had a good game so far, and it's obviously giving people suspicions. When I post my feels, it's making people more suspicious. People are also suspicious of some quiet people. All I could do was post what I was thinking. Maybe I can be most helpful to the village if I'm lynched.
For what it's worth, I still want to hear more from cyndia today and I think what finn posted about ally was really interesting and a good observation. I'm interested in hearing what she has to say about that. I'm also intrigued by the Jil lynch, but not because of feels for Jil, just pure curiosity of if STL is right again.
These are my quotes from where I expressed some concern for snowy. I also think it's interesting that we haven't heard anything at all from her since yesterday. I'm wondering if she got in her required post count yesterday and then just hasn't checked in today to stay in the background.
Did you play the mermaid/siren game (was that even recent? my life is a blur right now lol)? In any event, I am not sure what constitutes as late, as I have had to skip a few games lately, modded a game, and you haven't played in a couple recently (or at least I remember that coming up in sign ups). Could you use examples? I also play differently in basics games, because they are my bread and butter. It's the game I take the most seriously out of the bunch, as I have the most experience in them relative to probably anyone else in here (having played probably tens of thousands of them through mafbot when I was back in middle school and high school). What does the thing about telling noob wolves to stop talking have anything to do with you being or not being a wolf.

You guys killed charmander?! He was always my favorite starting Pokemon.![]()
Poor pika pika 😢. Trilt, I have no idea how you wrote, or came up with that! That's just sick.
cribbage is lots of fun, it's not just for old people!
If you don't have the wolves night actions, it's ok to close night without them, they won't mind!![]()
I bought my first Gameboy 19 years ago while pregnant with my son. I got it for the sole purpose of playing pokemon. In fact, that is the only game I owned!
May I have mine with hollandaise sauce?
I've never had eggs Benedict made by anyone but my dad. He even buys me fake Canadian bacon to put on it. I don't like runny yolks though so next time I was promised poached eggs with cooked solid yolks
I don't like chains in general. The food is mediocre at best. My family cooks really well, so I prefer home cooked to going out most times. There are some small local places that I like, and one makes some banging mac & cheese that I think even MJ would like.
Bring me some! That is the one thing my family can't seem to get right. I need polish MIL I think.
My point was just that I've only been playing for a year and a halfish and have seen him do all of the above. That's "recent" I thought, but you mean even more recently apparently. 🙂That's good for you and he has been as you described above. But that's not true as of lately. As of late, I've very much noticed him being more aggressive as a wolf than as a villager.
So if I'm a villager (which I am) then will you explain this supposed "tell"? I honestly think you have me confused with someone else or you are being a crazy bold wolf, which I don't put past you at all. I think explaining it will do 2 things, 1) let me know something I do makes you think I'm sketchy, 2) will let you know that thing isn't nearly as telling or sketchy as you think. And I asked this yesterday and you still haven't responded, how am I supposed to defend myself when I don't even know what I'm defending against? Yeah sure I can defend my play and votes, but we are only on day 2 and I explained my d1 vote. Could I see a noob wolf trying to throw a friend under the bus because they have a relationship outside of SDN? Yes, yes I do. People have said things like "LIS would never kill dy early" or "WZ would never kill MJ early" or you would never kill BI early, but you are also more experienced wolves, and I think sometimes just because people think those things, they are exactly the things you should do as a wolf. But I guess that is a different topic all together.I am sure most of my responses will be terribly out of date, but going down the list now to catch up.

I agree. Thank you. That's typical jilary posting when compared to other games I've played with her.
And, yes! Thank you! I know I said some of the same things in the last basics game and other games too. The 2nd quote was just Me commenting on something WZ brought up about a past game that I thought was funny. How is that telling of anything? I don't even remember what game it was.Just reread some of her posts in the last basics game... obviously nothing verbatim but some very similar postings there. So care to explain your thought process better?

The advice thing is a thing about taking my own advice type of thing, not being a hypocrite, all that fun stuff.
In any event, I was compiling Jilary posts. She does this fake emotions, fake happy BS when she is a wolf. And alludes to other games to seem helpful. I don't have time to keep my tell close to home because I have two tests tomorrow, so feel free to look back to verify.
I am quiet in games as a villager because I don't really have time to be doing WW, but I make it happen anyway. I value these games higher than all others (including ones that I mod), and get more invested in them then I probably should. But fine, point taken, I will back off and keep to posting less.

You? No! You're so patient with that kind of stuff.I may also be blinded by the last game we were wolves together in which he wouldn't shut his damn mouth and I wanted to shank him. 😉
You? No! You're so patient with that kind of stuff.
Seriously? Everything you just posted is me in literally EVERY game! Please go back and look, especially in lounge games. I make jokes when jokes are appropriate in every single game. I'm a sarcastic joker irl too. People have off topic discussions and OMG sometimes I chime in too. SHOCKING!!!! I'm actually laughing right now that you think those comments mean anything. I'm on my phone and in my car (parked, about to head home, not driving) but I will be happy to find almost identical posts in multiple more recent games I've played. I was planning on giving you guys my reads on everyone as of right now, which I think will take priority as it's actually useful, but if anyone needs proof that STL is wrong, I'm happy to provide that info too.Did you play the mermaid/siren game (was that even recent? my life is a blur right now lol)? Have you seen my posts in other threads about how much I like basic games? I really do love them and I think you can learn a lot about post analysis by playing them instead of relying on seers and trackers. I know LIS and I have similar feelings, and since we have a fair amount of new players, I honestly do hope they learn a lot about analyzing posts and votes patterns. It's a lot of fun, and I was excited for this game because of that. That's better. I see what you are saying now in jilary's first post...with the, "I hope noobs learn a lot" That I can agree did some more unlike normal jilary. The talking about other games... we all do that at some point or another as both wolves or villagers. So I'm not sure I agree on that front. But I do see your other point. Thanks. That's what I needed to be less suspicious of you.
And I'm not asking you to post less, just to explain yourself. It doesn't do anyone any good to not expand on your thought processes.
You have too much faith in STL (no disrespect, STL). I realize he has played a lot and especially being in bioinformatics I'm sure he is good at post analysis and stuff, but someday he is going to be a wolf and just following whatever he is doing will screw you over. Was there something else about Jil that seemed sketchy? I don't see anything that sticks out to me but would be interested if you do.
Also, I know she said she wouldn't be around until lynch is over probably, but if she gets back before I would like to know why @allyphoe has AM in her village category. Maybe I'm missing something. For right now.
Lynch AM
Yeah, someday. Do you have reason to this is that someday and STL is leading me on now?
Jil defense has just been her saying she's busy. She also mentioned thinking STL leans wolf but hasn't put a vote in that direction.
If I were giving up I wouldn't have been here all day trying to defend myself. Admittedly, I was not able to keep up as much as I wanted to this weekend, and that caused me to make some fast and not great judgements, judgements that I wouldn't have made if I had had the time to go through the thread more carefully. I haven't used not being around as an excuse because I know it doesn't matter in WW, instead I've been on here all day defending myself to the best of my ability because that's what's best for village numbers. If I can't convince people that I'm not a good lynch despite my best efforts, then the most useful way I can help the villagers is that if/when lynched, everyone is able to look at who was pushing to lynch me. I'm assuming there are wolves pushing for me because I'm an easy target right now. That's not giving up.Look you can analyze. And if you read why everyone is suspicious, its because even if you have never caught a wolf you are good at analysis. So if you are village stop woe is mee-ing and help us catch a wolf instead of just giving up!
I think we all know which of these is actually true every time"LIS would never kill dy early" or "WZ would never kill MJ early" or you would never kill BI early,
😵When veterans say this, it always makes me side eye. It seems like you are giving an excuse for only being on for a short period of time, and then leaving. I have done this as a wolf many times in post requirement games. Only posted during a short period of the time of the day, this way I am forgettable. People have moved on past me. I had you in safe villager category before this, now I am giving hard side eye.
See above. So STL doesn't want to give away someone else's tell but is claiming a tell himself (what he's accusing kcough of)? ooookay
If there is someone out there who is consistently good at reading STL, I have yet to meet them. His play tends to be too variable to establish a good meta. And the people who have played with him also seem conflicted.
I want to hear more from @kcoughli.
Should be 9pm EST. No one said I was wrong before so assuming that's right. When is lynch close? I have a bunch of comments to make, but am unsure of time.
Did you play the last basics game? STL claimed he was the seer D1 to get out of a lynch that he really should have been able to talk himself out of. The reason he claimed seer? To out the actual seer so the wolves could kill her.
"I want to get better, my posts are all useless/fluff!"
...then just throws a vote at someone because STL did.

Voting patterns are useful, but with a sample size of one lynch that we know the results for so far I'm hesitant to say much about them. And I say that as a villager in the immuno game who was wrong on every single wolf until LIS.
I know it's technically a correct spelling, but spelling judgment with an extra "e" always bugs me for some reason. (just looked it up, apparently it's more commonly spelled that way - with extra "e" - in British English). If I were giving up I wouldn't have been here all day trying to defend myself. Pretty sure you're my FB friend and would have been able to see via my post there yesterday that I was dealing with something just a titch more important than WW at the time. I also didn't know if the day was ending yesterday or today (which I straight up said in the previous post) so when I remembered there was a post requirement (seconds after hitting enter) I commented that I probably wouldn't hit it (assuming that the day was ending yesterday). This is me being grumpy for being side-eyed for warning people I will be less active for one stinking day.
For anyone interested in meta-play as a defense, in StarWWars III, I refused to get on LIS's egg-breaking Jabba-fueled bandwagon, because I wanted to set precedent for not getting on any Jabba-wolf-wagons. Villagers don't need to set precedent.
I would gladly tell someone in pm that I can trust wouldn't let get back to Jilary. Pming is not an option this game unless someone has a role for it. Oh give me a break, you are complaining at my wording of it. If I had said "strong feels" or "very strong feels" it's the same thing that other veterans do. You are getting upset that I called it a tell.
This is not necessarily true for STL imo. My impression from mostly mod side is that he's just very variable depending on irl. I can think of him being a fairly exuberant villager and pretty quiet wolf since I started playing.

Yeah I guess I just meant that if he was doubting my crappy day post, he could have easily seen what it was about.I'm also your FB friend and would have to go look to see what you are talking about. I really don't keep tabs on what people are doing through there.
Having said that, I agree with your grumpiness about people side eyeing you for one day of quietness.
If I were giving up I wouldn't have been here all day trying to defend myself.
