I really find it difficult to read people based on comments, so these are pretty much entirely based on analysis of the voting trends. Probably subconsciously influenced by other people's suspicions, because it's hard to avoid that.

Also, I forced myself to put every player into either the wolf pile or the village pile, even when I wasn't particularly happy about that. So if anyone feels inclined to defend themselves based on my list, what I'd really like you to do is put out a list with every player and whether you think they're a wolf or a villager.

Yeah ok, you're probably right - too flimsy/meaningless. Doesn't play out anyways with the dispersion of voters D1 & D2. It just made me go "huh. look at that"

Although raf also got votes the first day, with all of the Jil commotion the first day I could see a wolf assuming that Jil was almost certainly being voted off D2. A wolf would be luckier to get in on the sweet spot of the raf vote because it wasn't as expected. I saw Jil's vote as more of a self-preservation than anything so I wasn't necessarily counting that in this analysis. It might be wrong but those are my thoughts.

Yeah this would be interesting to look at. I don't have time right now or for awhile today to look at the times people voted for Jil, but of the alive people: WZ, ally, LIS, and AM are the only ones still alive who voted Jil D2.

I still hold to my theory that some of the wolves would have jumped on the raf lynch last min. But a lot less so now that we know Jil had no special ability.

I am referring to earlier in the day than you are. I was talking about around the early-middle votes for both of them. But I think you also have a very good point when it got later in the cycle that jumping on raf might have been a better option. Clearly Jilary evaded the vote for longer than raf since she made it all the way to yesterday despite being brought up strongly D1. So technically we could both have solid theories because they are considering different points in the day. I will also have to reread that part to look at specific timing.

I had actually started to go back & pull all of the posts from her and Nessie that set off alarm bells in my head, but then I replied to something else and lost them. But, even just this whole exchange this morning was strange-sounding to me:

DVMD seemed pretty much how she has in the other games I've played with her when she was a villager, so that part doesn't really surprise me. What does surprise me is that the wolves chose her I guess? I just feel like a couple other players that I have felt are pretty solidly villager would have taken precedence for the wolfs to kill...idk and it doesn't really feel like a lynch that was supposed to throw us off either? Idk. Maybe they thought she had an ability.

Seems like most are still feeling a Jillary lynch at this point...

In the last game LIS seemed to post a bunch at once like he has in this game, but he's definitely been not around as much...so I am kinda wondering as well, then again I feel like that is too blatantly wolfy of a strategy for LIS...

Anyone be have any thoughts on Ski? I'm having trouble quoting from my phone but I'll go back and try to quote some things later...some things she's said on occasion have peaked my interest a bit...

You are wayyyyy overthinking me (which is fine lol). I was asking Trilt about the plurality thing because it honestly came off weird to me that her excuse for not voting was that she didn't want to hit plurality. Idk with such long day cycles where we are pretty near the deadline anyway and everyone is pretty much in agreement that a certain person is likely a wolf, that seems like a weird thing to say. Trilt doesn't read wolf to me, but honestly is kind of surprises me that the wolves haven't gone after her. So that whole thing about not wanting to hit plurality just came off weird to me.

The posts about DVMD and LIS were in response to some things other people had said. Ski makes me wonder because I think back to the whole back and forth with cdoc in the beginning...plus she reads a little different to me in this came then others. Just wasn't sure how substantial my "feeling" was.

Just in case this lynch starts gaining momentum, I'd like to make a comment to hopefully help future village. Ally's last few posts have been almost exclusively grilling me, which I find quite wolfy. I am apparently a sketchy-seeming villager (under the radar, exceedingly neutral, all of the things you guys have said in the last little while), so it would be very easy to lead a lynch brigade against me to try and draw attention away from lynching fellow wolves. So when I flip village (which I will) I hope you guys take a hard look at Ally as wolfy.

Yes, apparently I had similar analysis as Jilary, and I decided not to lynch her because of it. I was rused, plain and simple. As I mentioned previously, a smart wolf wouldn't have been so openly waffling over voting for another wolf, because it would look sketchy. They would have stayed with the lynch and rode it out. So either I'm a really dumb wolf, or I'm legitimate village who was uncertain about whether I was lynching a fellow villager. If I hadn't unlynched, you would have been calling me out as a wolf hiding in the bandwagon and having similar views to another wolf. I did a thing last night where I went through and color coded the final vote tallies but lo and behold the colors don't transfer over from word so I'm going to work on redoing that I suppose.

My spreadsheet has similar color codes, but tally by tally for each lynch cycle.

Like I said, it was on surfacey stuff, but:

I think the primary reason for the long day cycle is so that people have enough time to get their 5 posts in and not get mod-killed.

Speaking of... Yeah, a lot of people still need to get on here and start talking.

I liked the aggression of getting people talking. The majority of wolves in pre-vet games play a quiet game, except for some of us who are pretty loud either way.

Heads-up that it's far easier for mods to see your lynch votes if you put them on a separate line, like so.

Remember that plurality is NOT in effect this lynch. It will be in next lynches, though. Ok to lynch how you want today, but in future, if you're not feeling certain about a player, consider tagging them to warn them instead of lynching.

I'm going to keep my vote where it is for now because I'm curious what shakes out of the Ski/cdo argument.

Same as above - still pushing a consistent line. In retrospect, if Ski is village, this would have been an easy line for Zensing to take as a wolf since either way it goes is 'acceptable' to the wolves. But at the time, I liked the tone.

If cdo has a power role, I don't want to lynch her just yet. I do want to hear what it is to get some idea of whether's she's attempting what STL had last game. I'm reading just noob language on raf's part. I'm more bugged about Coopah's post from the start of the day. She defended herself when pressed, but it's something that I'm surprised she didn't login through on her own.

I didn't fully understand what cdo posted after claiming she had a role - is she now saying that she's vanillager? If so, then she's back on my lynch list tomorrow.

I was not at all thrilled with the cdoconn thing rolled out. Since it was a verifiable role, I would have waited a day to test. That was the thing that really kept me on STL's ass for the next few days since I viewed him as really pushing that cdoconn lynch over the edge. Conversely, I liked that Zensing did basically what I would have done. 🙂

I didn't catch it at the time, but interesting comment on raf buried in there. Zensing is more sly than I realized.

Seemed like coopah was trying to frame a behavior as sketchy when she should have been able to work out that it was a reasonable action on day 1. Especially given that she posted this on the prior page:


One lynch vote generally doesn't invite discussion from the lynched party. Multiple lynch votes/a small bandwagon will. I thought Coopah knew that.


Was supposed to be logic, not login. That's what I get for typing quickly.

Finally, not that it matters now,

Dy made the 2-shot vigilante a day vigilante last game. There was one day where PBC was killed (I think) about 6hrs before lynch closed when we had all settled on her to lynch. It freaked all of us out, and Dy had to clarify that PBC wasn't mod-killed.

Is anyone else besides me and DVMD here that was alive during that point in the basics game? I know the day vigilante shot stood out in my memory, so I would think that others would have remembered it with cdo's role reveal.

There were a bunch of other quotes Zensing had in between there, but the bottom line was that I liked the post-lynch and post-night analysis. It just read villager to me, especially for a pre-vet game.

Somewhere not too much longer after that is when I finally started posting.

Just in case this lynch starts gaining momentum, I'd like to make a comment to hopefully help future village. Ally's last few posts have been almost exclusively grilling me, which I find quite wolfy. I am apparently a sketchy-seeming villager (under the radar, exceedingly neutral, all of the things you guys have said in the last little while), so it would be very easy to lead a lynch brigade against me to try and draw attention away from lynching fellow wolves. So when I flip village (which I will) I hope you guys take a hard look at Ally as wolfy.

Yes, apparently I had similar analysis as Jilary, and I decided not to lynch her because of it. I was rused, plain and simple. As I mentioned previously, a smart wolf wouldn't have been so openly waffling over voting for another wolf, because it would look sketchy. They would have stayed with the lynch and rode it out. So either I'm a really dumb wolf, or I'm legitimate village who was uncertain about whether I was lynching a fellow villager. If I hadn't unlynched, you would have been calling me out as a wolf hiding in the bandwagon and having similar views to another wolf. Yup, I buy that, which is why I have you guys diametrically opposed in my list.

If it makes you feel better (?), I have a LOT of wolfy tallies for ally earlier on in the game. But, I've had some villager ones for her, too, and the net is leaning heavier towards you as wolf at the moment.

Nah I know what early game is like, no worries. If you want to add on what made you feel kc was village too (and your current opinion there) that'd also be appreciated.

My take on kcoughli was similar to Zen: Was playing hard, pushing on people, trying to dissect people's play - to me that's villager work.

But the last 3-4 (real) days has suddenly gone radio silent except for a few "hey, sorry, school got busy" kinda posts. You know me - that kinda thing ALWAYS makes me nervous. Might be true (sure is for me sometimes), but it can also be a wolf who is starting to feel nervous or backed into a corner and is pulling a deer in the headlights move.

So early on I was pretty confident kcoughli was village. Now I'm starting to have second thoughts.

It is kinda interesting that everyone who has voted for Abs has been wolf killed (if I read those lynches right). I'm not sure it's compelling, but it's ... notable.

Abs' gameplay has stepped up the last 96 hours, though, and I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

I think Ally and WZ are both cleared by voting. I didn't look at the actual progression with with that 5/4 vote cdoconn/Jil, that would have been a pretty darn cocky move for either of them to sit on Jil when one move would have swung that to a day 1 wolf lynch.

The D2 voting is hard to interpret. I think the wolves were sitting there knowing that a wolf was going down (Jil or Raf), and which one was more or less out of their control, so I wouldn't read too much into either vote.
