Backpack or Shoulder Bag? What else do I need?

This is a question for current dental students. Can anyone make a recommendation of anything specific I will need while in dental school? Can I get by with my laptop and North Face backpack? So most students carry supplies, books binders in shoulder bags or like school backpacks? Seems some of the schools prefer students to wear nicer clothing and that seems uncomfortrable with a backpack.

Everythang gots to be North Face.

But for real though, you don't need to worry about all that stuff... they'll send out a welcome packet during orientation with all the information and stuff.
