Ha! are you planning on wearing your suit at some time other than the interview itself? The thought did cross my mind during lunch at my last interview, "what if I dropped this piece of tomato on my tie?" Just change into your suit right before the interview and be careful at lunch and you should have no problems. On a related note, I didn't realize some (most?) airlines have wardrobe lockers that you can use free of charge, maybe give the airline a call and see if yours does.

I got away with this last time I flew with a suit, it actually worked reasonably well. Even if you don't opt for the technique, check it out for the guy's swift, ninja-like motions.

whats your airline? most of them has a closet or other place where you can hang your suits.

The seat map shows where the closets are for each plane.

Also, its an amazing site for picking seats for your flight as you can see the details for each individual seat. Notably, JetBluedoes not have closets.
In most cases, you are allowed a carry-on luggage and personal item, the suit bag can be your personal item. For example, Spirit Airlines charges for carry-on bags.


If anything, I would bring an extra white dress shirt just in case.

I would suggest to invest in a good Carry-on/Garment bag, however; be careful a lot of garment bags are too big to be considered carry on. I got one, and tested it with two suits and the results were good, just few wrinkles that can ironed out at the hotel.
