Ever since I chose direct deposit, I started to have problems with my payroll.
I only work part-time and pick up extra hours right now.
Every pay period, I have at least 1-2 days missing.Last time, I even had 4 days missing!!!!!
Did you guys run into things like that?
Really bad walgreens payroll system which never give me extra hours.

Double check your punches before they go out on Saturday (you're home store manager can do this even if you work at another store).

I would like to ask you, do they guarantee to you the hours you need to work or do they vary from week to week?

I've never had only problems with it. The one problem I had was because the pharmacy supervisor never e-mailed the store manager about the hours we had with him.

I check my hours on SELS in store net. I make any corrections to hours there. Those are then approved by my store manager. I also have direct deposit & I haven't had any problems at all.

so what's the bottom line? Don't work for Walgreens? sounds like sour grapes...

I keep an index card with my clock in and out times on it, and compare it to my copy sheet that i get with my times.

I have been shorted before, but not since I started keeping toll. 😎

I have worked for Walgreen's and had direct deposit for 6 years, never had a problem with hours not being paid. My vacation was screwed up by the person who processed it, but never hours worked. I always make sure I get the punch in at every store I ever go to (which is the way you are supposed to do it!), which takes the human error (people forgetting to call/put your hours in if you just leave a note) out of equation.

I have worked at various stores and I have encountered a similar problem. I would always write down any hours that you worked at a store other than your home store on the time sheet so that your EXA/Assistant manager can check for those in the system when they are doing payroll. Always record all of your hours to protect yourself
