anyone have any anecdotal info on how competitive this place is for TY/prelim IM match? lots of spots (it seems) compared to other programs plus alabama makes me think it might be one of the 'easier' ones to get into.

They take mainly UAB folks who are in need of a prelim/TY year going into advanced specialties. I'd say it's competitive but idk if it's super cush (it could be)

I've heard it's reasonably so, but that may be in comparison to a uab med prelim
