A 45 yo obese woman with a history of diabetes, hypothyroidism and low back pain. She underwent bariatric surgery. Which of following is the fastest to improve?

1) hypothyroidism
2) Diabetes
3) Hypertension
4) low back pain

PS: Shouldn't low back pain to improve first? Probably the question is more deep and need to think of Diabetes?

Look on uptodate. I'm unable to access it from here without jumping through a ton of hoops.
Just checked it, nothing about back pain bro...

  • Diabetes completely resolved in 77 percent and resolved or improved in 86 percent.
  • Hyperlipidemia improved in 70 percent or more of patients.
  • Hypertension resolved in 62 percent and resolved or improved in 79 percent.
