Hi everyone,
I'm in a tough situation. I can't move in time to start Barry in Fall due to family issues (married and work). The SMP of choice that is nearby still has not decided on my application. And other ones are just too far for me to travel to and can't uproot with a months notice. I'm just trying to figure a backup plan for now. My science GPA as calculated by ASDAS is a 2.88 and my overall is a 3.1. Most of it because of Organic Chemistry 1 and the fact that I almost failed it, retook it, and then withdrew again. I finally ended up getting A's in it at another schoo after I graduated (went to UMCP). This is the major sore spot on my application. My state residency is Maryland btw.
Anyways, the plan is maybe to do some more undergrad coursework at UMCP for the fall and then go to Barry in the Spring. That why I have at least one semester of graduate work under belt. Otherwise it may be another few years of waiting to apply.
Option 2 is just do another year of postbacc and then do a masters here the following year and hope I get in that calendar year...
What do you guys think?
