Hi,

I am new on this site, and I was wondering if anyone else is going to be attending Barry University in the fall of 07? If so, can you please tell me about where you might be living?

I am actually waiting to get my interview from NYCPM, but when I went to Miami, I really liked the school, so I'm not sure yet, if anyone has any input please let me know about the 2 schools.

I really want to go to a school with nice people (Classmates), I really thought the people at Barry are really nice and friendly, and I was just wondering about NYCPM since I have no interviewed there yet. But the people that I interviewed with at Barry didn't say nice things about NYCPM.

just sent you a PM

hey satti, i sent you a pm also

If anything NYCPM is known for having nice people.

My theory is, if school A says something bad about school B then maybe school A is afraid that you may decide for yourself that school B is better. So they implant in your head first that school B is not so hot.

I am not the 1st person to stand up and defend my school or even the last but you should really decide for yourself which school is right for you.

And one last hint - the schools that do not talk poorly about each other during your interviews and tours are the ones that are not afraid of the competition.

Hey. I can tell you from experience because I applied and got in to both Barry and NYCPM, I chose NYCPM.

On my interview at Barry I asked the interviewer what school he thought had a better edge on podiatry education and he said NYCPM because of the clinical experience you get here. As K said, sometimes people say things just to discredit the other institution. Not every thing is perfect at any school, so you really do have to way your options.

As far as people being nice, I havent had or heard of anything outside of the normal. So you have to find whats a good match for you.
