Hello,

Sorry if the abbreviation isn't correct but my question is if the one year of english required is factored into the BCMP GPA or your overal GPA? I know BCMP stands for Bio,Chem, math, physics but just wanted to make sure. What sort of impression does BCMP GPA>Overall GPA give? Sorry if this has been asked before ~_~

Hello,

It's factored into your BCPM GPA if the English courses are taught by the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Math departments. So, for example, if the English course you are taking shows up as "Chem 131" on your transcript, you should be able to count it towards your BCPM GPA.

If BCPM GPA is greater than overall GPA, it gives the impression that you are the sort of person who asks the question you just did.

This isn't always true though. Sometimes the person that is reviewing your file will look at it very carefully and won't count some courses toward your BCMP even if they were taught in the right departments.

I guess that's true. Oh well OP, forget about counting it towards your BCPM GPA.
