Does anyone know how med school use the BMCP GPA? Can a high BCPM GPA fix a low GPA? Has anyone heard of a formula, like BCMP is .5GPA?

    thanks

Damm, we ought to have a sticky for the AMCAS GPA system...

Basically BCPM is made up of grades from your Biology Chemistry Physics and Math grades. Usually people have lower BCPM GPAs than overall GPA, and if you do well in the BCPM area of your GPA, I dont see why won't it bring up your overall GPA, unless you are majoring in some completley unrelated major, like say Theater, and do horribly in all those classes.
