Which one of these two given gpa's do the adcomms look at? I know my cumulative and science gpa, but what is the BCPM gpa primarily used for?

BCPM is AMCAS specific sGPA.

sGPA is a generic term. BCPM is specific to AMCAS.

Idk about you Irish, but I'm quite disappointed with this UM/ND game. Super boring and full of mistakes.

I'm also not rooting for ND so maybe I'm wrong.

UMichigan student, and I'm a huge college football fan.

Edit: 6 giveaways by Michigan... barf. Maybe it is just Michigan, but Notre Dame was having problems in the first half with turnovers.

Actually I have tremendous respect for the Woverines, as fellow fan of a once-powerhouse program that has fallen on tough times recently, I can sympathize with you guys.

Hey, this is one thing not to be awkward about. I totally respect the ND/UM rivalry, surprisingly more so than the OSU/UM rivalry. And Michigan State is a joke.

Okay. I'm still a little bit confused.. So I know the MSAR lists medical schools that look at sGPA and MCAT scores. That part is pretty straightforward to me. But where does the BCPM play its role in this process..? Why do medical schools and AMCAS need to calculate both BCPM and sGPA..?

They don't calculate both, for medical schools and AMCAS, the terms "BCPM" and "sGPA" are used interchangeably and should be treated as synonymous.
