Dear All,

I posted this question earlier but did not receive a response. I was just wondering if (1) BCPM classes titled "Internship" or "Directed Research" are factored into the science GPA, and (2) how courses like these are viewed by adcoms.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I am pretty sure any class labeled biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics goes into that. Also, astronomy figures into that because it's technically a physics class.

I'm not sure how these are viewed by adcoms, but I would think they would look favorably upon them. Internships and research are good things to have on an application to med school.
