Dear All, I posted this question earlier but did not receive a response. I was just wondering if (1) BCPM classes titled "Internship" or "Directed Research" are factored into the science GPA, and (2) how courses like these are viewed by adcoms. I am pretty sure any class labeled biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics goes into that. Also, astronomy figures into that because it's technically a physics class. I'm not sure how these are viewed by adcoms, but I would think they would look favorably upon them. Internships and research are good things to have on an application to med school.
