I rewarded myself with paid internet on a flight as i post. Agree with ur point. I dont see the next bear market going much under 50-60k. We'd be lucky to get that.

Im very sandbagged in my approach. For example i was calling 100k as cycle top in 2025. For me to be this excited this early is bullish sign for things to come.

My current sell target for ETH is 4900-ish.

I don’t own a ton of it (10) and I’m content with any additional gains I *might* miss out on.

If the king can get to 150 this cycle I will actually be able to go part time and go down to 4 days a week. 175-200 maybe 3 days a week is on the cards.

I know you are keeping your predictions quiet but would you consider these numbers bear, expected, or bull based on what your seeing/feeling?

Again major props for starting this thread you are on another level to say the least.

Respek bro.

I’m not ever retiring. I’m a hustla. I work on some things outside of anesthesia (1 project that’s gonna change the world). My plan is to continue grinding in Anesthesia to put my kids through college and giving them gift of sending them out into adulthood debt free. If the anesthesia market changes or the admins continue to make genius policy changes, I’ll rethink things. I’m more than blessed to have other sources to generate income.

I guessimated this cycle, BTC would blow off between 175-250K or so. I think we’re not half way through this cycle. With the global race of Funds, pensions, and sovereigns accumulating directly (mining or purchasing) or indirectly ($MSTR, ETFs, etc) I think we could see the fervor get as stupid as the memecoin craze. I wouldn’t be surprised at anything between 100-999K. Likelihood of 999K low but possible.

Love this bro. I can cash out now too but still plan on continuing full time since I like my job. The money not bad either 🙂
Also planning for the kids colleges and any grad schools they want.

Based on your thoughts, is there still utility in dollar cost averaging into Bitcoin at this point?

I think im too much of a chicken to actually go down to 3 days a week. Sure it'd be great to be in a position where you could do it but to actually do it I think i'd need to sit through one more cycle. I mean if it goes in the 175ish range that means 2028-2029 we are going to be close to 300. For me, I'd only be selling to hopefully DCA with the profits to buy more and not really to spend it.

Essentially you still need to work to see the process play out while maintaining your lifestyle. The older I get the more money i feel like one "needs" to even consider an early retirement (sub 50) but its probably since 5 is the new 2.5m thanks to covid.
 
Do you guys consider 5 million "enough" to retire before age 50? Is that 5 million per couple or per spouse?

That would definitely be more than enough for me to retire before 50.

So its a lot of money however timing matters. If your 55-60 with kids through college, weddings done, paid off house close to getting SS and medicare health insurance heck yeah!

But if under 50 and plan to 100% stop working without those things of course you can still theoretically do it. 3-3.5% rule gives you 150k-175/yr but you'll pay taxes out of that plus health insurance for a family of 4 unsubsidized can run you close to 20k. If you have college tuition, mortage, etc it can burn through quick. Plus any recession could drop that amount by 30%.

I dont even have kids and rent and dont' really overspend and betwen the wife and i we are spending 120-130 (80% goes toward rent, 2 cars which will be paid off in 2 yrs, and health insurance) without hardly traveling this year. This month our international trip will run 20k likely and i just feel our yearly spending keeps going up though shockingly few years ago we were 85-90k +/- 10K like clockwork but of course we didn thave a rented house which is totally worth the $ in this crazy market.

I got lucky and was able to buy a bitcoin trust in my backdoor Roth IRA a few years ago when it was allowed before the ETFs.

Nice little tax sheltered BTC to have in the back pocket.
