I was recently accepted into Bellarmine's PT school. I am very excited about Bellarmine; however, before I was accepted I was planning on sending an application to Emory. Now, I am wondering if I should even apply to Emory because of the cost and trouble of a potential interview. I know that Emory is a better ranked school but I am not sure why. Does anybody have any information about either of these two schools that would sway me one way or the other?

I live in Louisville, close to Bellarmine so I applied there as well. However, I will say that it's not my first choice primarily because of COST (tuition). However, cost of living in Louisville is really not bad compared to some other areas, so that may help offset at least some of the cost. I believe Emory is in Atlanta? I would think that Louisville's cost of living is better than Atlanta's (not for sure).

What I know of the faculty is fantastic and I work with two PTs who graduated from Bellarmine who loved it so no worries there. I'm sure they told you on your interview day that they're expanding the PT building, which is exciting. You also get the opportunity to do some traveling in the form of an exchange program to Australia which is also a perk if you so choose. Bellarmine has a lot to offer, I'm not sure if I've helped but that's just my two cents as a local.

Thanks for the help! I haven't talked to anyone that has been through Bellarmine's program so I think that is what makes me nervous about it. It's good to hear that the PTs you know loved it.
