Cracking down the studying for this last month or so before the exam and I've looked at a few different Qbanks and I'm having trouble choosing and would like to avoid shelling out multiple hundreds of dollars. Anyone have any experience or advice with which ones were good?

I've looked at the one through the AAPMR and my concern is that the explanations will be as good as the explanations for the practice SAE questions (often not great). I've also looked at PM&Rqbank site (or something like that) which seemed to have decent questions but their explanations were largely trash (IE: E is the right answer, source Braddom etc). The board vitals set seemed to largely have better explanations (Ex A is wrong because of this, B is wrong because of this, C is right because of this etc) but I felt their question stems (at least for the small free sample of questions I got) were testing more obscure pieces of knowledge rather than bread and butter.

Anyone tried any other banks? Any thoughts? Thanks!

I haven't taken the boards yet but previous residents from my program said PM&R Qbank is very similar to board format (question stem length) and on point topic-wise. So i've been using that.

PM&Rqbank is not a high quality qbank. It's fine if you're just trying to cover a lot of material quickly. I use it as a "do you know this? What about this? What about this?"

The AAPMR qbank has great explanations. It's where I'm putting most of my energies.

The Q&A book is midway between the two, in terms of quality. The questions aren't all that complicated, but the explanations are good.

From what I've heard the AAPMR qbank is the one closest to the actual exam.

What is this Q&A book you speak of?
