Just wanted to get some feedback on apps others have utilized for their stylus and class. More specifically ones that allow you to write on powerpoint slides, pdfs, and best medical apps (anatomy, etc.).

I use Human Anatomy Atlas (you can find it on itunes), it's been great to get a 3D idea of the body and to help visualise it as a whole.

Was it what you used most for studying?

I use it a LOT, it gives you a continuous, complete picture - books only give you photos so it's easy to segment the body structures and ignore how they relate to one another. It also has other features like seeing muscle movements etc, which I find very useful.

Does it have a testing feature? Have you used any other anatomy apps?

I liked Essential Anatomy. For notes, I use OneNote with a stylus. Most of my class uses OneNote, even if they don't use a stylus.

None that I know of :/ I've seen some other apps that my peers use - wasn't very impressed! Most of them were inaccurate and had less features (not to mention that the graphics on Human Anatomy Atlas are beautiful)

What kind of features did you like most with the anatomy app? And can you use one note on Microsoft power points that the professor posts?

For note/class organization - OneNote
For actual note taking - Notability (I think it's better than OneNote)
Medical reference - Medscape App
Anatomy - Visible Body
For Miscellaneous files - Dropbox

Also, iBooks is great for organizing PDF copies of all of your books.

I think Notability is better at taking notes with PPT's, but I like OneNote's organization better so I arrange everything in there once class is over.

And the awesome thing is that all of these apps can be arranged to sync with your computer so you're never without your files / notes / books wherever you go.

Anatomy - I liked starting from the outside and taking away 1 layer of muscle at a time, and quizzing myself on which muscle it was and then hovering over it to confirm.
OneNote - yes. For PC you can go direct. For Mac, you need to save as pdf then you can import that. Then you can write directly on that.

Are there any apps for study resources (anki, sketchy, etc.) that others have used successfully?
