I would also like to see what other people think as I am in the same boat.

I had great biochem professor so just need something with a great anatomy & physiology review as I have yet to take such a course in college. I have all the major bio books (BR, TPR, EK) so just want to know which you awesome SDN users most recommend 🙂

I've looked through all 3 and can't stand the BR as it goes into way too much extra detail, not to mention its not in color which I would imagine is a great bonus for learning anatomy. So just trying to decide between TPR (which I used last year and thought was pretty good, just not sure if familiarity is a good or bad thing 2nd time around) and EK. Anyways let me know what you fellow SDNers think!

Interesting, I see you are recommending a non-MCAT specific book. Won't the MCAT-specific books go into only the subjects / amount of detail necessary for the exam while other books made with medical schools in mind go into far too much detail or cover topics that AMCAS does not consider required for the actual MCAT exam?

Seems a lot of different books have been listed so far in this thread and wondering if there's a consensus as to which book is best. I would also like to avoid the money / downtime of waiting for a different book to ship if at all possible. Thanks again for your input I really appreciate it!

I'm really weak on physiology too, and there's no way I'd recommend buying a 400 page text book to study for a subset of a subset of the MCAT.

lol exactly 😛 Well I think I'm just going to use TPR (again) as I managed to get an 11 on the Bio section when I took it last year so gonna stick with what works.
