which programs in soutehrn california have reputation of putting out very good anesthesiologists? thus far, i've heard harbor/ucla work their residents like race horses with not the best support, charles drew not even sure if their program is still up. . what bout uc irvine, ucsd, loma linda, usc? many times u can't go by rankings as rankings take research money into account. many applicants are not research inclined but rather want to get the best training possible, such as myself.
